She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Buurma and Sophie Buurma (DeBoer); and her son James VanDenend (Jimmy). She is survived by: her husband Hillebrand VanDenend; her daughter Sara; her son-in-law Josh Perry; her son Jon; her daughter-in-law Michelle VanDenend; her grandchildren, Jackson Perry, Greta and Layton VanDenend; her sister Cindy; and her brother-in-law Art Bolt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
