We announce the death of Michael Francis Cagney of Holland, Michigan, who passed away on June 9, 2026, at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Cagney and George Cagney; and his brothers, George and John Cagney. He is survived by: his siblings, Martin Cagney, Thomas Cagney and Ann Cagney; his sisters-in-law, Lisa Cagney, Laurie Cagney and Virginia Cagney; and his nieces and nephews, Mack Scudder, Kaitlin Cagney, Chris Cagney, Ryan Cagney, Brett Cagney, Kaye Urban, Shannon Izquierdo and Samantha Fehler.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Building Men for Life Inc, a community that supported Mike and gave him a home for many years on his journey, or the Humane Society, to honor the deep love Mike had for animals throughout his life.
