He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Chatterson and Beverly Chatterson (Curry); and his brother Brian Chatterson. He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Kidder and Adam Tripp; his grandchildren, Sadie Mitchell, Lydia Kegeler, Naomi Kegeler and Cameron Tripp; his former wife Marlys Gelder; his stepchildren, Sam Ploeg, Sara Ploeg and Sandra Ploeg; his siblings, Michelle Gray (Chatterson) and Carl Chatterson; and his siblings' children, Abby Chatterson, Amanda Chatterson and Thomas Wheeler.
