He is survived by: his daughter Patti Schuitema; his children-in-law, Bill Wolters and Kathy Becksvoort; his grandchildren, Emily Shemon (Aaron), Lisa Ruggeberg (Joe), Steve Wolters (Sammy), Blake Becksvoort (Taylor) and Brooke Newman (Kyle); his sisters, Julia Stadt and Marty Zylstra; and his in-laws, Ruth Becksvoort and Ken Bleeker (Georgiann).
