She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Akershoek; her daughter Lynn Moe; her parents, Zina Powers and Irene Powers; and her siblings, Knox Powers, Cecil Powers, Anita Weiss, Clarys Howell, Mark Powers, Delven Powers and Jean Powers.
She is survived by: her son Alan Akershoek; her children-in-law, Natalie Akershoek and Charles Moe of Fremont, MI; her grandchildren, Steven Moe of Holton, MI, Alicia, Jason Cooley of Delta, CO, Sheryl Moe of Annandale, VA, Kenneth, Lisa Akershoek of Fennville, MI and Nataniel Akershoek of Holland, MI.; her great grandchildren, Mason Akershoek of Marquette, MI, Hayden Akershoek of Holland, MI and Kamren Akershoek of Fennville, MI.; and her brother-in-law William "Bill". She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
