He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Japinga and Marguerite Japinga (De Fouw); and his brother Robert Japinga. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Japinga; his children, Jodi Syens (Marv) of Holland, Jeff Japinga (Jennifer) of Chaska, Minnesota and Julie Van Oordt (Kevin) of Jenison; his grandchildren, Mark Japinga and Annie Carrigan (Jordan); and his stepgrandchildren, Paige Erickson and Brett Erickson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Holland or to a charity of your choice.
