She was predeceased by: her husband Farris Gambrel; her sons-in-law, Dale Dewitt and Craig Corpe; and her parents, Harlan Powell and Grace Powell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Opal (Steve Bauman), Darlene Dewitt of Holland, MI, Susan Corpe of Allegan, MI and Jackie Stephenson of Holland, MI; and her brother Roger Powell of Columbia Station, OH. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Opal's honor may be given to Rose Park Baptist Church.
