With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis Heerspink of Holland, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phyllis left this world on August 20, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Edwin VanderBerg and Marie VanderBerg. She is survived by: her husband Floyd "Flip" Heerspink; her children, Rodney Heerspink, Debora Kraai, Sharon DeRuiter (Bill) and Judy Klaasen (Rich); her grandchildren, Lisa McKay, Bryan Kraai (Tricia), Jennifer Branson (Kevin), Scott Klaasen (Ashley), Dustin DeRuiter and Samantha Ekdom (Jeff); and her sister-in-law Margo VanderBerg. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Central Avenue Christian Reformed Church (259 Central Ave, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Central Avenue Missions and Hospice of Holland.
