She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thomann and Katherine Thomann; her husband Donald Kates; and her brother Donald Thomann. She is survived by: her children, Mary Jackson (Mark) and David Kates; and her granddaughters, Jennifer Sivas, Shaina Friemind and Terin Kurz. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
