Scott Paul-Bonham wrote a sympathy message

“I remember Richard Rust from church. He always had so much energy! I remember him most fondly from Family Camps at Camp Greenwood. I loved his stories of work when he was young. He and his wife had such a special bond. I am praying for her, and for all his family and friends. "If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." (Romans 14:8)”
