We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2024, at the age of 86, Robert Hop (Holland, Michigan) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Hop to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Hop and Alice Hop (Baumann); his son Mike Hop; his brother Sherwin Hop; his in-laws, Harald Kronemeyer and Jerry Logrippo; and also Ethan VerHage.

He is survived by : his daughters, Kathy Diemer (Rick) and Kim Walters (Dale); his daughter-in-law Brenda Hop; his grandchildren, Shawn Diemer (Jodi), Kelli Kapenga (Andrew), Jessica Kamminga (Brian), Melissa Boyd (Cornelius), Stacy Runner (Phil), Ashley VerHage (Ryan), Adam Diemer (Kylie), Tanya Kooiker (Kevin), Bethany Raak (Steve), Travis Walters (Jilayne), Melinda Kryger (Joel), Ryan Walters (Angela Stegink), Kristopher Hop (Michelle), Danyelle Roon (Jeff) and Mitchell Hop (Samantha Tear); his siblings, Alverne Hop (Arlene), Elaine Jacobsen (Neil) and Judith Kronemeyer; and his in-laws, Delores Hop, Mary De Graff (Jack), Delwyn Dykstra (Donna), Delores DeVries (Ed) and Steve Dykstra (Cathy). He is also survived by 45 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the South Olive Christian Reformed Church (6425 120th Ave, Holland, MI 49424). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In the spirit of Bob & Thelma's generosity, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to South Olive CRC or South Olive Christian School, in lieu of flowers.
