He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn Koop (Wolbrink); and his son Douglas. He is survived by: his children, Dave Koop (Karen) of Holland, Kathy Van Der (Jeff), Kristin Koop of Williamsburg, VA and Beth Wehunt (David) of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Lisa Huyser (Matt), Rachel Melhorn (Bryan), Andrew Koop, Sam Klein and Ben Koop. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland or Ottawa County Department of Veterans Affairs.
