He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Todd Scholten; and his sisters, Pam Crays and Pat Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Scholten (Tammy) and James Scholten; his grandchildren, Heather and Taylor; his great grandchild Jayden; his stepgrandchildren, Nichole and Matt Milligan; his close friend Lori VanTubbergen; his friends, Sandy, Aiden, Kennady Giancotti of Lansing, Jayson, Sara, Sam, Joe Chizick of Okemos, Ned and Sally Joldersma; his brother-in-law Reg Smith; Sue Smith.
