It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Trimble of Holland, Michigan, born in Barnetts Creek, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy Ann Terrell; his son Tom Trimble; his grandson Aaron Trimble; and his siblings, Opaline Watkins, Dorothy Stidham, Annalee Rutan and Wade Trimble.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Trimble of Holland, MI; his children, Teresa Ann Howden (Allan) of Creston, BC and Rev. Tim Trimble (Rhoda) of Pelham, AL; his daughter-in-law Barbara Ann Trimble; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Bodey of Englewood, FL and Sharon Borland (Bill) of Urbana, OH. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
