We bid farewell to Rod ney Cranson (Holland, Michigan), born in Hubbardston, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Rod touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Rod departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Rod may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Rod leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norwood Cranson and Lottie Cranson; and his brothers, Robert (Leone), Eugene (Marge) and Charles Stanley Cranson.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Keri Rees (Brian) of Holland, MI and Kurt Cranson of Charlotte, NC; and his sister-in-law Agnes Cranson of Grand Ledge, MI. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
