He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peeks and Juella Peeks; his parents-in-law, Henry and Lillian Lubbers; his brothers-in-law, Roger Gunneman, Calvin Lubbers, Howard Lubbers and Norm TenBrink; and his niece Elizabeth Deters.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Peeks (Lubbers); his daughters, Sara Wierenga (Mark) and Jennifer Peeks; his grandchildren, Hannah Wierenga, Lillian Wierenga and Benjamin Wierenga; his sister Carol Gunneman; and his in-laws, Gloria Boss (Dale), Lola Deters (Paul), Jayne Lubbers and Judy Lubbers. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
