He was predeceased by: his son Scott; his parents, Gerrit Evink and Bernice Evink; his siblings, Gary Evink, Janice Evink and Wayne Evink; his parents-in-law, Harold and Garnett Cox; and his brother-in-law Joe Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his son Steven (Mary Jane Evink); his grandchildren, Miles and Johanna Evink; his sister Patricia Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Nuismer (Rex Behrends), Donna Evink, Arlene Evink, Belinda Cox and Randy Cox (Carol). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
