He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Eme Helms (Jason Grant) of Holland and Joshua Slagh of Holland; his grandchildren, Hailey Venlet, Camden and Deeken Helms; his siblings, Bev Assink (Mel) of Hamilton, Vern Slagh (Deb) of Zeeland, Darcy Dreyer (Doug) of Borculo and Bruce Slagh of Zeeland; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Bouma (Sue) of The Villages, FL, John Bouma of Holland and Roger Bouma (Char) of Grand Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
