She was predeceased by: her son Rodney VanDyke; her parents, Rudy Halach and Marie Halach; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Betty VanDyke.

She is survived by: her children, Rick VanDyke (Shari) and Julie VanDyke; her daughter-in-law Roxanne VanDyke (Ryan VanDyke); her sister Karen Schulmberger (Alan); and her in-laws, Arvid VanDyke, Karen Porter, Lynnore, Ralph Robrahn, Deborah and Frank Scalabrino. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Gentiva Hospice.
