She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry First and Mary Denning; her former life partner Laddys Anderson; her husband David Bushrod; her son Laddys Anderson II; and her brother Harry First.

She is survived by : her daughters, Felicia Anderson, Mary Anderson Plummer (Derrick), Fay Anderson and Judy Anderson; her grandchildren, Shimeka Balcazar (Noe), Laddys Anderson III, Ladesha Anderson, David Plummer and Olivia Anderson; and her great grandchild Noah Balcazar.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alexander East Chapel (2115 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nazarene Baptist Church (867 E Walnut St, Evansville, IN 47713).
