She was predeceased by : her former life partner Dave Elhart. She is survived by : her parents, Ronald Boersema Sr. and Donna (Zwagerman); her husband Mark; her children, Matt Elhart (Katie), Ethan Elhart (Jamie), Katie Dykema (Nate), Megan Lawrence (Mike), Sarah Emmett (Nat) and Danny Lawless; her brothers, Ron Boersema Jr. (Karen) and Ross Boersema (Ursula); and her grandchildren, Austin, Brooklyn, Olivia, Rosemary, Abe, Simon, Murphy and Kieran.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
