She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Visser and Julia Visser; her brother Roger Visser; her husband Cecil; and her son Jim.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Helmink (Mary) of Raleigh, NC and Diane Wertz (Jim) of Belmont, MI; her daughter-in-law Stephanie Helmink of Conroe, TX; and her grandchildren, Maegan Johnson (Dan), Holden Helmink, Chloe Helmink, Alison Baucom (John Mark), Jenna Schaefer (Mike), Mitch Helmink (Caroline), Max Helmink (Lori), Andrew Wertz (Jamie) and Erinn Schmitt (Joseph). She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
