With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Eileen Machiela of Holland, Michigan, who passed away on February 18, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard VanZoeren and Margaret VanZoeren; her brother Max; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanne VanZoeren and Chip Hardy.
She is survived by: her husband Norm Machiela; her sons, Craig (Charity Machiela), Troy (Dawn Machiela) and Lance (Jennifer Machiela); and her siblings, Keith VanZoeren (Ann) and Judy Hardy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Thelma's name may be given to Benjamin's Hope.
