She was predeceased by : her adoptive parents, Phillip Williams (Ruby Willams) and Ruby Williams; her grandmother Susie Wells; her great-grandparent Mary Wells; her brother Vernell Baker; and her nephew Larry "Punkin" Dottery II.

She is survived by : her children, Lashone Johnson, Darrell Johnson Eric Johnson (Kathy Johnson) and Whysper Johnson; her grandchildren, Jamar Grainger, Lashani Baker, Willie Baker Jr., Darrell Johnson Jr., Drevon Johnson, Davin Johnson, Elias Cruz, Xavion Johnson and Zelia Johnson; her siblings, Katrina, Denise, Shirley and Sharyn Dottery (Larry); her nieces and nephews, Dawn Brooke Williams, Tina Crockett, London Dottery and Jelani Baker; and also Albertina Baker.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Tabernacle (781 Lincoln Ave, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
