He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Harring and Hazel Harring; his wife Helen Harring (McCormick); his son Jay Harring; and his brothers, James, Gerald and William Harring.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Harring (Kim), Karen Turkstra (Douglas) and Scott Harring (Susan); and his friend Betty Dykstra. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
