She is survived by : her children, Gloria Alaniz, Alfredo Alaniz Jr. (Janet), Elizabeth Alaniz, Michael Alaniz (Lisa) and Robert Alaniz (Julie Segovia); her friend Frank Saldana; her grandchildren, Anthony, Ricardo, Gavin and Marissa Alaniz; her great grandchildren, Alana, Christopher, Miles, Angel, Jesse and Leilani Alaniz; and her siblings, Pedro Pena, Gabriel Pena and Bertha Pena.
