He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bell and Elsie Bell (Searfoss); and his parents-in-law, Virgil, Idella Higgins (Thiel), Rich Higgins, Bill Higgins, Tom Higgins, Basil Higgins, Larry Higgins, Frank Fulk and Charles Fulk.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Higgins Bell; his children, Melissa Brewer (Rob) and Bruce Bell (Shannon); his grandchildren, Casey Brewer (Christina Payne), Jessica Bell, Allyson Brewer and Jordan Bell; his great grandchildren, Twins Aiden and Madison; his sisters, Audrey Fulk and Rose Fulk; and his parents-in-law, Rachel Higgins, Karen Jo Higgins, Dirk Higgins (Holly), Anita Trautwein (Bill), Sheila Higgins, Louise Higgins, Shirley Loper and Pat Alt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews along with several cousins.
