Wayne Sneller Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 3, 2025, at the age of 78, Wayne Sneller of Holland, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wayne Sneller to pay them a last tribute.

Though Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wayne touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sneller and Charlotte Sneller; and his brother Delwyn Sneller. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Sneller; and his daughters, Wendy Skelton (Keith) and Rebecca Carter. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

“Wayne the Riverman has been a lifelong friend and leaves a lasting memory in my life. He was great friends with my father, Frank Wilson, he played at my 21st birthday party. He plumbed my first house on Hoffman Street in Saugatuck and he wrote epic ballads about our Best Chance Charter Fishing business on Lake Michigan that are such meaningful parts of our history. We are sorry to hear of his loss today and want his family to know how deeply sorry we are for your loss.”
