Wesley Kiel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 92, Wesley Kiel of Holland, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raymond Kiel and Jennie Rose VanderWerff; his former wife Nellie Klein; his children, Sheryl Mallehan and Steven Kiel; his grandson Matthew Weikert; and his sisters, Donna Jansen and Betty TenKley.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Looman Kiel; his children, Susan Weikert (Richard) and Scott Kiel (Cathy); his grandchildren, Meghan Collings (Darron), Melissa Werries (Christopher), Leah Makepeace, Laura Bruursema (Kyle), Ryan Mallehan (Stephanie), Steven Kiel (Danielle) and Hannah Kiel; his sister Lois Zylstra (Ray); and his children, Linda Quintero (Ray), Wendy Looman (Joan Kowalsky) and Mark Looman (Steffany). He is also survived by great grand children.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dykstra Funeral Homes Mulder Chapel (188 32nd St, Holland, MI 49423). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Live Stream Christ Memorial Church - Sanctuary (595 Graafschap Rd, Holland, MI 49423).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Gateway Missions or Hospice of Holland.
