He was predeceased by: his wives, Sharon, Mary Kay and Judy; his son Michael; his stepson Jeff; and his brother Theodore.
He is survived by: his children, Bill, Rochelle Lettinga, Cynde, Steve Damstra, Connie Lettinga and Robert Barto; his stepchildren, Ben Ipema, Denise, Tim Tamminga, Diane and Brian Bartels; his brothers, Vern, Pat Lettinga and Ralph Lettinga; his sister-in-law Elly Lettinga; his caregivers, Renae Torres-Mares and Holly Schmidt; and his daughter Carolyn Doyle. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
