He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilbert Bird and Wilhelmina Bird; his brother Leonard Bird; his wife Jenine; his children, Josh Bird (Jamie) and Sarah Young (Lance); his grandchildren, Lena Young, Kayden Bird, Hailey Young, Kyler Young, Bryce Bird and Tessa Bird; his brother Thomas Bird (Rita); and his in-laws, Patrice Sysko, Norman Prins (Char) and Gerritt Zylstra. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
