He is survived by: his wife Margo (Woltman); his children, Laurie Honor, Kristine, Stu Solomon, Mark and Diane Vander Berg; his grandchildren, Tina Michmerhuizen (Phil), Alesha Dewit (Tim), Sarah Smith (Tim), Daniel Vander Berg (Anna), Nicholas Byrd (Daniel) and Andrea Thielke (Tim); his sister Phyllis Heerspink (Flip); and his in-laws, Dee Post, Rich Woltman (Bev), Roger Woltman (Bev) and Linda Gonzales (Art). He is also survived by 12 Great grandchildren.
