Yvonne Higgs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne Higgs of Holland, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Bakker and Dora Bakker; and her siblings, Sharon Rigterink, Glad Assink, Carl and Melvin Bakker.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Higgs; her children, Lonny Higgs, Kimberly Starr and Stacy Higgs; and her brothers, Keith and Ron Bakker. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harlem Reformed Church, Hospice of Holland and Ottawa Area Center.
