We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 82, Alex Ernest Lloyd (Holly, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Lloyd (Glasgow) and Ernest Lloyd; his former wife Charlotte; his wife Joyce Lloyd (Vallette); and his significant other Loralyn Hiltz.
He is survived by: his son John Lloyd (Deana); his stepchildren, Robert Davies (Rachel) and Johnette Davies (Mark Turner); and his grandchildren, John Lloyd, Jr., Thomas Davies and Erica Tipolt (Chadd). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dryer Funeral Home (101 N 1st St, Holly, MI 48442). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
