It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basil L. Moore of Holly, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Siiri Moore; his son Steven Scott Moore (Robin); his stepsiblings, Kenneth Edwards, Robert Edwards, Joanne Riese, Wendy Fishback (Plew) and Karen Plew; his daughter-in-law Emily Garthe; his sister-in-law Marilyn Vivian; his cousins, Rae Marie Klobucher, Cindy Taffee and Tom Taffee; his friends, Annette Boyd, Don Boyd, Kimberly Doljesi, Fred Campbell Jr. and Don Prescot; his father Morton Wellington Moore; his son Thomas Todd Moore; his stepfathers, Jack Edwards and Ruben Bjerkness; his parents-in-law, William Vivian and Alma Vivian; his stepmother-in-law Phylis Vivian (Plew); his stepsiblings, Bob Plew and Anita Plew; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Vivian, William Vivian and Virginia Vivian. He was also cherished by 12 nieces and nephews, 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
