He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Steve Borgstrom (Colleen) of Holly, Holly Borgstrom Pfeifer of Grand Blanc, Joe Borgstrom (Kirsten) of East Lansing and Patty; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Sophie, Amelia, Kate, Gabriel, Jack and Nathan; his sister Karen Kurkowski (Larry); his niece Mary Trew; and his nephews, Gary Tedder (Diane), John Tedder (Janice) and Mike Kurkowski.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carl's memory to The Care Team Home Health and Hospice or to the Holly Area Veterans Resource Center.
