Edna left this world on March 23, 2026 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Othel Williams and Vivian Williams; and her brother Danny Williams. She is survived by: her husband Mark Stephens; her children, Scot Cucksey (Meren) and Cari Cucksey Iafano (Vince); her siblings, Stanley Williams (Amy), Donnie Williams (Ann), Scotty Williams (Mandy), Clint Williams (Cathy), Ricky Williams, Martha Ruebelman, Kay Stephenson (Jimmy), Fay Bennett (Ricky) and Lois Wilson; and her grandchildren, Will Cucksey and Orion Iafano. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Michigan Alpha Lambda, in honor of Edna's lifelong dedication to education and teachers.

“Edna was truly one in a million. I first met Edna when she was a teacher, then I joined the sorority and then got involved as she published the learning activity packets and coordinated with authors. I never figured out how she could possibly accomplish all the things she did. She was amazing. I remember the close association with Diane Farsvedt. I always thought those two were so incredible. I will miss Edna although I haven's been close to her these last years. It's amazing her influence”
