It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Lee McKay of Holly, Michigan, who passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McKay and Verta McKay (Shepherd); his wife Patricia; his son Daniel McKay; his granddaughter Amber Lynn McKay; his great grandchild James Michael McKay; and his brothers, Ronnie McKay and Denny McKay.
He is survived by: his children, Terry McKay (Marjorie), Melody McKay (Daly) and Melissa McKay; his sister Charlene Brooks Brooks (David); his siblings-in-law, Paula Alber, Kathy Sweet (Joe), Cheryl Rex, Megan Donigan, David Donigan and Michael Donigan; and his close friend Joan Beers. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
