He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Nelson, Emma Curtis, John and Elizabeth Adams. He is survived by: his parents, Dean Curtis and Elizabeth Curtis (Adams); his wife Kelly Swartout; his children, Ryan (Nikki) and Alicia (Eddy); his grandchildren, Blair and Cadence; his brothers, Dean (Dana), Joe (Renee), Dave (Miki) and Bill (Andrea); his parents-in-law, Dot Pfahlert and Dick Swartout; and his sister-in-law Lori Maxheimer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Dryer Funeral Home (101 N 1st St, Holly, MI 48442). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The John Curtis Memorial Fund, benefiting youth beef exhibitors at Oakland County 4-H.
