Mary E. Kendrick Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2025, at the age of 93, Mary E. Kendrick (Holly, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Hugh Wims and Ruth Wims; her husband Charles Kendrick; her siblings, Robert, Joe, Jerry, Ronald-Dee Dee Wims, Laura Walker, Louise Stewart and Stella Winfield; her son Charles Kendrick, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, SaMarie Chambers and Eternity Kendrick.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Lewis (Bill), Kevin Kendrick (Diane), Mark Kendrick (Deneen), Sharon Chambers and Jennette Kendrick; her siblings, Claudette Nevils, Anne Mews and John Wims (Betty); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Wims and Valerie Wims. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cobb's Funeral Home (151 Orchard Lake Rd, Pontiac, MI 48341). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
