It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernardino Tanguma Gomez Sr. of Holt, Michigan, who passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mazelino Gomez and Petra Tanguma-Gomez; his wife Sally Gomez; his son Adam Gomez; and his siblings, Pete Gomez, Angelita and Nazaria.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Mary Carson; his children, Magdeline (Dennis), Lydia (Alfred), Bernardino Jr. (Victoria), Anna (Sam), Moses (Linda), Ruth Ann (Robert) and Andrew; and his sister Marcelina Cardinas. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
