He is survived by: his mother Carolyn Phillips; his children, Marshawn Phillips, Armani Phillips, Makayla Phillips, Curtis Phillips Jr., Zariah Phillips and Ah'Kiyah Phillips; his grandchildren, Armiah Phillips, Kyngston Calhoun and Zy'Aire Tanzy-Phillips; his partner Sharica Hall; and his siblings, Nedra Phillips, Joseph Phillips, Crystal Phillips, William Phillips, Eric Corpening, Margaret Corpening, Ashley Corpening, Justin Gawlowski, Jeshon Gawlowski, Abigail Gawlowski, Nicholas Gawlowski and Shannon Phillips. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Beckman Park (1605 Cobb Blvd, Kankakee, IL 60901).
