He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Carpenter; his stepfather Charles Stragier; and his goddaughter Nicole Roberts (David). He is survived by: his children, Ryan Carpenter (Rachel) and Kasey McFadden (Sawyer); his mother Gloria Stragier; his grandchildren, Charles, Bennington, Nevaeh, Elijah and Alex; his brothers, Scott Carpenter (Monique) and Nick Carpenter; and his nieces and nephews, Colin, Allica, Morghan, Brindlea, Kayden and Jack.
