It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernie Snyder of Holt, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Hubbard and Burneda Snyder (Colvin); his wife JoAnn Snyder (Woolston); his siblings, LuVern Snyder and Gladys Max; and his son-in-law Charles Hollern.

He is survived by : his children, Bonnie Hollern and Thomas Snyder (Christine); his grandchildren, Sara Hollern (Kevin Raber), Missy Shepherd (Joe), Todd Snyder (Erin) and Christel Benjamin (Brad); his great grandchildren, Nolen, Emmy, Kellen Snyder, Charlie Shepherd, Bailea and Ryder Benjamin; his sister Doris Anspach (Rich); and his brother-in-law Jerry Woolston (Judy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to First Presbyterian Church of Holt.

“Tom (Chris), Bonnie and family. I just was informed of Ernie’s passing. I have such fond memories of Ernie, first as our TV repairman man and then years as custodians for Holt. Ernie’s kindness, integrity, character and soft spoken humor will surely stay with me. Working with him was easy as well as enjoyable. He was respected and loved by everyone. I’m so sorry that I missed the services. Condolences and hugs to you.”
