He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Bower and Hazel Bower (Pitcher); and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Humm (Jack), Avis Ginther (Jack), Bob Andrews (Helma), Mary Miller (Cal), Bill Andrews (Pat Wilsher), Art Andrews (Marty) and Mary Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Andrews; his children, Steve Bower (Wendy) and Michelle Alberty (Tom); his grandchildren, Ashley Ball (Justin), Lindsey Rogers (Jordan), Mindy West (Charlie), Lisa Bower and Tony Alberty; his great grandchildren, Carson West and Logan West; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Andrews, John Andrews (Martha) and Joan Oserowsky (Stan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in Al's name to St. John's Lutheran Church.
