We are sad to announce that, on July 1, 2021, at the age of 80, Marvin Friar of Holt, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Friar and Juanita Friar; his wife Charlene Rae Friar; and his son-in-law David Herron. He is survived by: his children, Camie Herron, Angela Ponic (Michael), Amanda Berenter (Aaron) and Mark Friar (Coleen). He is also survived by grandchildren and (10) great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pennway Church of God.

“So sad to hear of Dave's passing. I loved it when he drove the bus for my field trips. He was so special. We'd talk the whole trip and sometimes he would take pictures and send them to me.
