He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alfred "Al", Elaine Boersma, Gerald "Gerry" and Agnes Beckman. He is survived by: his parents, Jeffrey Boersma and Marilyn Boersma (Beckman); his wife Rachel Boersma; his children, Sydney Boersma and Brooks Boersma; his brother Eric Boersma (Debbie); his nephew Roman; his parents-in-law, Linda (Huffman) and John Polack; his brother-in-law Jay Polack (Carissa); his niece Adeline; and his nephews, Brody and Ryder. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
Charitable contributions can be made to the MIHSSCA which will be used to further improve the All-State game, which he made into the wonderful event it is today.
