She is survived by: her parents, Ted Bauer and Jean Bauer; her sons, Nicholas Spyke (Jenn) and Joey Spyke; her grandchildren, Joss and Theo Spyke; her siblings, Joan Bauer of Lansing, MI and Joe Bauer (Liz) of Basalt, CO; her nephew Trent; and her nieces, Anna and Megan Bauer. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

“Ms. Bauer was a wondrous teacher, she was my Phys ED teacher for middle school... I truly did not find out about her Passing until 8/8/21. At one point I was looking forward to seeing her again. I had seen her one time at an eye-care clinic and was going to stop by at the middle school, I never got the chance. My condolences to the family, I send you good health & fortune.
