He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell McDonald and Valeria McDonald (Starr); his sister Janet; and his wife Lauralyn McDonald (Chase). He is survived by: his sons, Michel of Lansing, Shawn of Ypsilanti and Daniel of Holt; his granddaughters, Eliza and Amelia McDonald; and his siblings, Don McDonald (Maxine), Bill McDonald, John McDonald (Sharon), Mary Lynn Bott (Tom), Susanne Courser (Tom), Linda Ray (Gary) and Marsha McDonald. He is also survived by many loving cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
