He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Huibregtse and Marie Huibregtse; his wife Bonnie Huibregtse; and his sister Janice DeHaan. He is survived by: his children, Scott Huibregtse, David Huibregtse (Lorie) and Christine Sabatowski (Jim); his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Nate Sabatowski; his brother Richard Huibregtse; and his great-nephew Antonio Hernandez.
